16 Tomberline Emerge Rear end clicking
Looking for advice. We just converted to Lithium Ion and have put about 10 miles on our 6 seater Emerge. Tonight we stopped and slowly crept forward behind a car at a stop aign and began noticing a click from the rear. Sounds like a baseball card in the spoke of a bike tire.
When going fast we dont hear it. Only when rolling forward slowly. Any advice on what this might be? Otherwise the cart runs great. Thanks. |

Re: 16 Tomberline Emerge Rear end clicking
Update- Today the babysitter took the kids on the cart and after some time it began to stop. She turned off the cart and back on it would drive about 20 feet then stop again. If it sits linger it will drive longer when the key it turned back on. Seems to have the same power throughout but still stops? Any help would be appreciated

Check your battery cables. I had a similar issue on my cart and it was a loose cable that eventually starting arcing. Before I noticed that the cable was arcing, the cart behaved exactly like you stated (start/stop).
If it's the cable, make sure you have lock washers installed and everything is tightened down. |
