Your vehicle is a 2004. The controller itself is a 2011, having been replaced in 2011. It was programmed to the vehicle, which is a Summit with the HD motor but instead of the LAD, has the older Pot Box style accelerator.

The wire harness still had the 10k ohm resistor which is used as a reference for the speed encoder. It looks like the attached picture and is in the same area as the controller hanging off the main harness.

I don’t have a resistor nowhere on my cart my green wire is solid between controller and encoder the red wire has a connector

I order a resistor looked all over all my wiring couldn’t find it anywhere that’s why I am asking if I order a connector for my resistor and would have to splice my wires together but would that work
