Default Re: VC 460 w/ pedal kill relay BACKFIRING

i had the same issue. I decided to run my kill switch relay off of the key power, before the pedal switch. With the carb set not to idle i stopped the back firing and if anything were happen, i can turn the key off to kill it. I just spliced the blue power wire returning from the key. I believe on ezgo the pedal switch has some adjustment front to back as well to allow for cable stretch.
