After a few runs today I decided it was air filter cleaning day. The UNI prefilter I made up for over the K&N oval filter was filthy. The K&N itself shower very little dirt during the cleaning process. While I was at it I did the prefilter on my murry of ohio's UNI like unit on the Opie powered lawn tractor. It was not anywhere near as dirty as the cart's UNI. Probably a lot of difference in operating hours. All are drying in the sun. All is still well with my upgraded muffler mount now with several hours on it.

Sun dried and reoiled K&N back on Vicki and back on the road for island touring. She seems even more powerful than ever. Probably my imagination

Very HIGH tides and quite a bit of rain so even today's light rain again so I just made the post office run. Probably about another month or so cart season will be over for that long months of no cart days.

Great weather today. Got a couple of island tours in. There have been quite a few people here mid week for this time of the year. Fishing must be good. The marina hasn't had a year like this since 2000. Just reflecting that with the Omega clone every nut,bolt,washer along with all the short block parts has been selected and handled by Ray. But the Vc 460 long rod in the cart the flywheel side of the engine is still however it left Vegascarts in 2014. I guess whenever I go to remove the coil and flywheel we will see what 40 some speed runs and probably some salt water in there has in store for me. What was installed in Vegas still has Vegas in there.I wonder which VCer built my base engine ? P.S. That includes the time my secondary flew apart and jammed the throttle wide open burying the tach until I gathered my wits and hit the emergency shut off switch.

Back to VERY heavy winds so no more cart after early saturday. Cooler and even heavier winds today.

Several runs in today. Vicki is running good. Pfizer shot #3 scheduled for friday so we will if I stay running good ?

I had Zero side effects this time. Not even a sore arm. Weather was great so I took Vicki out for 3 rides this afternoon

No carting today and probably not tomorrow. Not much rain BUT a WHOLE LOT of wind. Real contrast from yesterday when I had both carts out.
