Default Alltrax SR48600 Reverse options

Anybody know how to hook up SR48600 reverse controll on a cart without a reverse micro or reversing contactor? I know I need B+ to blue connector on reverse. Can I use B+ at S1 or S2? Will B- at Blue reverse connector harm the controller?

Reversing for a series controller is done by the contacts in the FnR switch. The controller has absolutely no difference in operation for reverse. It is all done by the contacts switching in the FnR switch.

The controller only will limit speed if there is an input to the reverse pin. Do not connect any wiring to the reverse input pin if you don’t want/need a limited reverse speed.

Understood,
I do want to be able to control my reverse speed with the controller. Since I don't have a reverse micro or a reversing contactor I was wondering if I could take B+ from the motor S1 or S2 (whichever one is B+ in reverse). That wire will change to B- when I change the FR swith to forward. Will this work?
Thanks

I had a thread a while ago asking this. I think the consensus was that I needed to either get a contactor setup or purchase a HD FnR with the three micro switches.
