Install a "jumper wire" between the batteries BL+ post and the solenoid post with red wires attached.

Can anyone elaborate on this for me. what is the 1st sentence for? and what is BL+? I assume that it is the battery pack + terminal
It makes more sense when the word "OR" is inserted between the Blue and Red sentences.
The solenoid needs to be activated either by slightly pushing the pedal --- OR --- by installing the jumper wire.

Your assumption is correct. BL+ is hold-over from the Marathon days and earlier, when the battery pack was split, 3 batteries on the left side of cart and 3 on the right.

However, you cannot use that procedure to check the ITS on your cart since you do not have a stock series controller.

Connect your Negative test lead to Pin-2 and the Positive to Pin-3
When the pedal pushed until solenoid first clicks, you should have 10.0V
When pedal is on floor, you should have 6.0V
I don't have the allowable tolerances, but Alltrax ought to give them to you.

The LED not coming on at all is also a bad sign.
With the negative test lead attached to the B- on controller, measure the voltage at Pin-1 (with red wire still attached).
With key on, F or R selected and pedal down, it should read pack voltage.
If it does, the LED ought to be on.

If it doesn't, the controller is sick.

I'd call Alltrax at this point. They may have some more checks that can be performed, but I think the controller is bad.
I get 50.1 volts and the LED is off.

I get 0 volts at all times. click to full throttle.

Johnnie when I test between pin 2 and pin 3 should they be disconnected from the controller?
I did it both ways. disconnected was 0 volts. connected it was -2.5 volts.

**** this buggy has been nothing but trouble for me......

Thank you again for all your help.

I do have 1 more question(and I might start a new topic for this). I still have my old 36 volt controller, can I use it and just remove 2 batteries? The solenoid is upgraded, the FnR has been upgraded, resistor (400 amp, I think).

The 48V solenoid might not work at 36V. Do you still have the original?
Also, the Pre-charge resistor for a 48V system is 470 Ohms, while it is 250 Ohms for a 36V system.

With the 22" tall tires, the cart's performance will be very modest with a stock (275A) controller, and I'm not sure how long it will last, but it should move the cart from Point-A to Point-B.

Be sure to keep the two batteries that were removed fully charged so they don't go bad.
