Default Valve tick/slap compression loss

Cart runs great until it gets hot, then what sounds like a loud valve tick starts and motor slows to a crawl, let I cool and runs fine again. Cooling fan checked, oil change, etc. seems to be heat related. Fe350 motor any ideas would be appreciated

The FE350's have hydraulic lifters... one, or both could be collapsing when it get's warm!
You could try an engine oil cleaner/flush with fresh SAE30 oil and oil filter to see if it helps!

It's just a guess...

No need for a rebuild, this is common and an easy fix.
Drain out about 1/3 of the oil and put in marvels mystery oil. Drive the cart normally and it will be fixed. It's not in the cylinder head.
