400 amp or 600 amp solenoid help
I need some help choosing a solenoid. But first here are my cart details.
2016 Club car precedent i2 4 seats Gtw a-arm 6 inch raised suspension 14 inch rims 22 inch a/t tires Navitas 600 amp controller with on the fly programming Original club car solenoid Original club car 3.3 hp 2500 motor Full light kit And more, but not needed for my question. So far with this setup the cart maxes out at 23 mph. However, I am concerned the original solenoid won't last. I believe it's rated for 225 or 250 amps. I want to get a heavy duty solenoid. I looked into the Curtis 400/800 amp solenoid, and some Chinese 600 amp solenoid. My gut says to go with the 600. What do you guys suggest as far as amps? And why? Also do you have a brand you would recommend? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I'm burnt out... Thank you. Mark |
