Looking to upgrade and need advice
I have a 2006 Club Car Precedent 48v electric cart. I recently burnt up my controller and have decided to upgrade. I am about to put a Jakes 6" spindle lift on it with 20" tires.
I want it to have good torque for riding through the woods and on hilly terrain. There is no need to go 30 mph up hill for 100 miles! So I don't want to over do it. I am just looking to get the most bang for the buck. I am looking into an Alltrax DCX400. Is this the one I want to get? Some people have mentioned the Sevcon 500amp. How does it compare? What else needs to be updated? (Soleniod, battery cables, anything else?) Thanks in advance! |

Re: Looking to upgrade and need advice
I have had very good luck with Alltrax controller and they are in all my modified carts. I would go with a 500amp 48 volt programble.

Thanks, what else needs to be upgraded in order to maximise the power of the new controller?
