Controller upgrade advice.
I am new to this cart thing and need some advice. I am looking to buy a 98 ezgo 36 volt with bad solinoid, lift, camo body (new in 04), roof rack, brush guard, winch and homemade bed for $1500. Motor was upgraded in 04 to a D&D 502-1. The controller was also upgraded to 350 amp I believe. Question is, should I upgrade the controller and/or solinoid if I am going to go to a 22" or 23" tire and add a back seat? Primary use will be hunting and hauling kids around the house. Thanks for the help.

Re: Controller upgrade advice.
You can try the 350? It may hold up depending upon the terrain and general strain you put on the motor. A 500 would be ideal.

Re: Controller upgrade advice.
Replace the solenoid first to make sure that is the problem.
