2014 Moose hunt
I thought I posted this last night, not sure what happened to it? What a week, smoking hot one day with bugs so bad you could hardly breath, to rain/sleet, wet snow and -7C temps in the morning. We didn't know what to expect. Only one bull and one cow were spotted during the week after countless miles paddling the river. Finally on the last day this fine bull came out grunting as we were down to our last 2 hours on the river and was taken within 100 meters by my son, Sam. Unfortunately it expired in the river and it took two hours to winch it out. We ended up having a camp out beside it due to losing light and not being able to make it down river safely. Were finally home and exhausted but happy we came home with at least one.
