Where are all the deer pics?

wow, nice deer ! Also, very well spoken and classy pics for the "non-hunting" people who may see/read this. Sometimes it is not thought about that the hunters are lower in numbers then the non-hunters. Always nice to keep it "clean". Thumbs up Texas001.

looks like Texas deer to me. we are not talking about Illinois and Iowa deer here. Fact is thats one thing that aint bigger and better in Texas. LOL

still it will be darn good eatin

My post was all in fun. You sure have taken some beautiful deer. As you said, "he is a trophy". I didn't intend to place a value based on the size of a deer or his antlers. I deem it a bleesing to hunt. Hope those grand kids let you shoot first next year though.

dont get me wrong, his deer are great. boddy mass on that first one in the second post. He's a pig. All of the ones in my post were found dead from blue tounges desease during antler shed hunting season after they dropped them. I have only shot does. my trophy hunting comes from walking (or carting) during shed season. They cant reproduce horns if they are dead. And we are now way over run with does.

After not seeing any the first weekend and missing the 3 I saw the next 2 weekends

,loose scope. I got 2 does fri and sat One at 7:04 just as I woke up from my nap.

and the sat one at 10;15. That has never happened to me before. Sorry no pics

I took this one in 09.

Our rule is you need to take a bigger deer then the one you took the year before. This one was too close to call, so I let him walk. Took his picture at 15 yards.
