If and when you try a slam and in need of a Osceola let me know
I may be able to hook you up .
Being a amputee now my hunts are harder , slower but more funner
I now have to stop and smell the roses before I pull the trigger
I don't know about being a serious turkey hunter, but I have killed a few. It is in alot of ways more challenging and funner than deer hunting. Each hunt is a adventure. I have had good luck for only turkey hunting for about 5 year. Good luck this spring

Today is the last day of late muzzleloader season here in VA then it's time to start hitting the Outdoor shows and gearing up for Spring Gobbler. Only three more months away. Hopefully I'll get my first turkey this spring.

Robow,

I know the feeling of having your son old enough to take.
Man I couldnt hardly wait to take my son when he was older
and could set still .
Now he's older, married and has a life of his own with his wife
and lives a good ways from ole dad. No grandkids yet, but I keep
hinting to start makeing some so grandpaw can start all over again
teaching the Outdoor world to .
My boy don't hunt now, sure wish he did still ,But I have some great
memorys with him when he was young.

By the way, Thats a Hoss in your avator Very nice deer and I see you took
him with a bow... Thats something I have never did yet ......
Have bow hunted but just wasnt good enough I guess , missed a few nice
ones. What did that deer weigh ? he's a goodun .

Good luck on the Turkey Hunting

Don't know about you guys, but here in Oregon, you can get two tags for the spring hunt, and then in DOuglas County, where I live... you can get two bonus tags... total of 4 birds for the spring hunt, only one for the fall.... Have gone a few times, but thinking about getting into it a bit more this year!

Thanks BCW I think he went around 155lbs. The picture makes him look a bit better than he is. He is one of my best bucks to date and maybe my most rewarding.
