Re: Deer Cam Pics
How high up is your camera mounted and is the light at night the flash from camera or do you have another light shining. Sure looks bright. What the model of camera?

Re: Deer Cam Pics
Stealth Cam model 1540IR. About 5 and half feet off the ground. It is an infared flash. That is why the night time pics are black and white. There are no other lights shining. All you see is a red light blink when flash goes off. If you where standing there looking, it does not light up the ground like it shows in the pictures. Its cool how that works.

Re: Deer Cam Pics
i have those same cameras on my place.
someone else suggested i lower the cameras and have them shoot directly out instead of angled down, so that at night, the IR picks up a greater range. anyway... i am attaching a couple of buck photos just to appease the few who werent appreciating what a great tank you have there TDAWG. sounds like you have a bit of a piggie problem... i have not posted photos, so hope these are not too big 800x600 (notice the same halo effect from the IR. i changed my camera angles 2 weeks ago, but have not been back out to see the new pics) |

Re: Deer Cam Pics
Is that second pic a mule deer or what? Whitetails in Georgia don't look like that.

Re: Deer Cam Pics
Nice cam pic's guys!!!
I wish we had a pig problem in NJ. But then again, the state seems to think we don't have a problem with the bears and they took away our bear hunting privilege :0( |

Re: Deer Cam Pics
Finally it looks like I might have a new player in town. In the last pic, does it look like that little dear might be about to sprout some rack?
