Re: Turkey Hunters
Looks great, I like that top. The turkeys that I hunt are usually at the grocery store and all I have to do is sneak up to where they are and just grab one. Not as much fun as you guys have...

Re: Turkey Hunters
That looks like a turkey killing machine! It wont be long now before they turn us loose will it? I cant wait to put my first bird in the cart! The Longbeard Express looks good! Even got the matching decals. Nice touch!
I like the mods you did to the back end. I just built a basket rack to go on the back of mine. I'm gonna put a removeable tail gate on it and build a nice padded seat and backrest to set inside. I havent decided yet if I want to make a narrow foot rest to put in the reciever hitch or build a permanent one like you have. |

Re: Turkey Hunters
Thanks. That was the first time I had done something that big. I did some paintball guns and liked the way they turned out.

Re: Turkey Hunters
I will be hunting a WMA in south Florida this weekend. 32,000 acres and 50 permits. I got the second week. This is only my second year turkey hunting. Saw two hens last week. Gonna do some more scouting this evening.

Re: Turkey Hunters
The paint does look great. You make me want to repaint mine now. Guess I'll wait till after turkey season is over. Kinda odd they open your season on a Sunday. Most states adjust the season to open it one way or an other on a Saturday. I wish LA would change to opening at the middle of March instead of the end. Maybe one day.
JMatyas, good luck with the Florida thing. I know a couple of guys that have already scored this weekend down there. I'm gonna try to plan a trip there for the spring of 2010. |
