Default performance electric motors

Has anyone compared the performance of differant aftermarket electric motors?
Plum Quick, EMP, D&D, are the top manufacturers. GE makes some good ones too. I don't want to leave anyone out, but would like to see a side by side comparison between each on a neutral site. Has this been done?

All it would take is about $3000, some beer, and a weekend.

Would prolly piss off the UPS guy also. I know mine hates when I get motors.

Seriously, it would be really cool to see some real world side by side comparisons but I've never seen such. There's so many ways to go about these motors also. Just a few wraps of wire here and there makes a huge difference not to mention bar count, air gap, armature length, and so on and so on... Would be interesting to see though.
