AllTrax AC1 controller and motor
It sounds like ALLTRAX is getting close to announcing their full AC conversion offering. The new 650 amp AC controller is shipping, per the ALLTRAX website, and they are taking signups for conversion interest.
I suspect conversion kits will not generally available until 2024. Prototype testing now, and likely will be heavily promoted at the PGA show in late January. The prototype motor is supposed to be smaller and more powerful than the Navitas. There is a private ALLTRAX Facebook group with limited info. |

Re: AllTrax AC1 controller and motor
I see the AC kits are available. i’d be interested in finding a relatively unbiased Navitas comparison.

Re: AllTrax AC1 controller and motor
I have the AC1 for my Precedent, although I am still waiting on the motor to show up. Hopefully in the next week or two. I have built a half dozen Navitas club cars, including a 72v one. I'm excited to see how it all works out. I can say from just looking at the controller, it is a lot beefier than the Navitas. It also doesn't have the aluminum bottom for cooling that the Navitas has.
I've had good luck with Alltrax in the past, so I am hopeful. |

Re: AllTrax AC1 controller and motor
Yeah that's Ryan Fenters channel, I saw that vid several days back. That's what got this whole ball rolling for me. I've been wanting to go AC since last year and was waiting to see how the Altrax system would pan out. I was hoping to hear from a few that may have done the conversion. Looks like a solid set up.
