The problem with UNO will be support of the app. What now.

If it's a propriety app then you're stuck with whatever you have now. What's wrong with the app, buggy? or just concerned about future downloadability and OS compatibility?

They are absolutely out of business.

I have a full video of a teardown and pictures of all of the internal components should anyone want any information that may assist them in fixing their shoddy product.

I too am the proud owner of one of their boat anchors. Would love to see the tear downs and possible fix. Battery shuts down at 80% charge out of balance on cells. Also overheating issue. If there is a fix for this battery would like to see what is available.
Thanks

Person with the video hasn’t logged on since 1/31 but I think if you send them a friend request it will send them an email.

I'm still around. I do have that video. It's really long and I need to edit it down or I could just post the whole **** thing and you can listen to me talk to myself for a while. 🤣

Funny thing is my battery is overheating now too, on a cart that I rarely use. It's been sitting in the garage for about a week just hanging out and I noticed the battery light blinking a different pattern than usual. Reach down to touch the battery and it's 130°.

Seems like I'm about to go three for three for these things failing on me.

I'll get that video up sorry life just got in the way, it wasn't a super big priority since they're out of business anyway.

Actually, the other Ryan beat me to it! He got his posted up and it's a much shorter video. 😜

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FgoiKXaYLPw

He came to the same conclusion I did, The thing is about impossible to service, there's so much foam and poured in epoxy in there, covering the BMS, that you got to get pretty creative to try to salvage it.

Mine is still sitting on my tool bench completely taken apart.

It would appear that the main failure point in these based on my experience and having two and I'm pretty sure about to be three failures at this point (My third battery is sitting in my cart right now. the BMS is getting extremely hot, just sitting in the idle with nothing plugged in, but nowhere else is the battery hot to the touch).

I've been trying to find some sort of replacement BMS that will work for these battery packs, and I would love to try to wire one in and see if these can be salvaged that way. The way they pour a bunch of epoxy around the BMS in these makes the BMS itself unserviceable. The expending foam around the rest of the pack doesn't do any favors either. My hope was originally was to open it up and just replace the BMS plug and play and call it a day.

That looks like a giant mess to even try and work with. Yikes.

That's the worst piece of engineering I've seen in a long time!
