New business endeavor
My SIL has become 1/2 owner in this business, retrofitting and building Rhinos, Razrs, etc. for offroad desert racing. He has been bitten by the bug and is partnering with the guy who did his new Razr for him. It's the first new Razr on the circuit. The business will be operating out of 1/3 of our 15000 sq. ft. shop. My SIL will be handling the business end of things. The other guy will be the hands on part bringing with him his knowledge and experience. This sport is becoming very popular here. Also will be bringing all his tools and equipment including a dyno. I will, for better or worse, be taking over his accounting nightmare. He simply doesn't have time to run the business, do the work and market the company. It's requiring no $$$ investment on my SIL's part. Just his very capable business skills. At this time there are 15 Rhinos and 3 Razrs in various stages of work to give you some idea of how popular this sport is becoming. Also racing in this series are the trophy trucks and the sand rails that I think are 1600 cc class.
Here's some pics from my SIL's first race this weekend. An 80 mile one at the AZ/NEV state line. This is the BITD series. His Razr is the grey one. It was a brand new car that was almost completely dissasembled and rebuilt to meet race specs. It will be the prototype for the new Razr. |

Re: New business endeavor
I won't be getting a new ride unless I sell the one I have and in this economy doubt that will happen.
