Question kawasaki 440 in club car. Exhaust Questions

Hey guys. I have an 84 club car that the wiring for the starter is messed up on. So i bought a 1981 john deere trailfire that runs and drives for 175 bucks. The sled is very loud. i don't think the exhaust has any type of silencer implanted in it. It looks to be just the expansion chamber. I wanted to know what would happen if i ran the exhaust coming out of the expansion chamber thru the old club car muffler. Or what would happen if i just got rid of the expansion chamber and ran the exhaust right to the muffler. Also, the snowmobile is made for a 1 1/4" belt, and the club car uses a 1". But the snowmobile clutch doesnt clear the club car axle. How do Solve this?help:

If it looks like this it is all in one expasion and muffler. deere used comet clutches see if there are shims under the spyder, if not it can be turned down.

ok. But can i still put another muffler on the exit of the expansion/muffler. and whats the spyder? im new to snowmobiles

are you saying i can make the clutch thinner to accept the clubcar belt? could i make the clubcar driven clutch wider to accept the 1 1/4" belt

This is the spider

See the shoulder on the shaft that is what is turned shorter allowing the spider to be closer to the sheave.



You could add a muffler to the exhaust but keep it free flowing.

Ok. I got it. So to make the shoulder shorter it would need to be machined?

ok, what would happen if i used the 1" clubcar belt on the 1 1/4" clutch?

The clutch would slam into the belt causing jerky starts and
not reach full speed due to not reaching the top of the clutch.

ok. so what if i made a 1/4" spacer for the driven clutch that would make it fit a 1 1/4" belt? What would that do? I would love to put the snowmobile secondary on it. I bought a shaft adapter before i realized the clutch was too big and didnt clear the axle. It would be easiest to buy a comet secondary that cleared it, but they are so expensive. i need one for under 100 bucks.
