Can I somehow disconnect this annoying thing on my G16???

Just remove it. I wired a back up light to the micro switch instead.

under the seat there will be a connector by the shifter cables just unplug it!

It's a safety item, leave it on and put a piece of tape over it to quiet it down.

Rockboyz,
Do yourself a favor and use the search to look up "back up buzzer". do some reading before you disconnect. Lots of people learning very valuable lessons and I'd rather not start another thread about.

I would keep it. It saved me one time. If you like the idea of a BU light just add a relay and switch a fused 12v from the battery and do not ground to the frame. Run back to the battery neg.
