2014 Club Car Precedent
Hi I have a 2014 precedent 11.5 hp motor. Stock the cart does 14mph. I've adjusted the governor just a small amount and can get the speed up to 19 mph. Problem is the cart constantly bounces off the rev limiter. Now, I like speed and as far as I'm concerned the more the better! BUT... I could live with 19 mph if it wasn't constantly bouncing off the limiter. I've done some research and figured out these carts have the limiter built into the coil itself. Is there anything I can do to eliminate it? Do they have a coil without the limiter in it? I would buy a tach and monitor rpms. Or any other ideas on getting more speed would be great. Thanks for any input, it is greatly appreciated.

Can i just replace the ignition coil with an older one that doesn't have limiter?

I've actually read that you can't swap coils. Just looking a little insight as to why.

Idk...its not adjustable. I don't have a tach. About 19 mph is all I can get.
