Looking for some advice and or suggestions on what vendor or kit would work raising my 2005 Club Car Precedent.

The options are plentiful.

All Sports, Jake's, Rhox, Steeling are a few most commonly used.

What kind of lift are you looking for and how much lift do you want will better help to narrow that down.

Use the drop down menu under 'Site Sponsors' to use one to purchase your kit and know you'll get top notch service from a company that helps support this site

I am not even sure how high I want to go. I would think going with an "average height", whatever that may be, would be fine.

I purchased the All-Sports 4" Super Sport A-arm lift from Dave at Revolution Golf Cars (one of the site sponsors) and am running 20x10x10 wheels and tires and cannot be much happier. I think its just the right height IMHO.

What size tires do you plan on using and will this be a road or off-road cart?

I am trying to figure out what I should do as well and open to hear peoples opinions. I was figuring at least 4" but would go 6" since the cost is seemingly negligible with certain kits

1999 club car DS
I want at least 21-23" tires
and I use my cart for half and half. some off road but some on road.

thanks

A 6" double A-Arm kit would accommodate 23" tall tires without issue. Not sure about the 4". I'll say my All Sports super sport lift is easy to install, gives a really good ride on/off road and makes adjusting for alignment a breeze.

Having had drop arm and long travel kits I'd like to add that there are driving characteristics that you'll need to take into account. With my RXV the LT kit adversely affected pavement driving (too soft) but was awesome off road. I ended up back with a 3" lift and 23" wheels. Kinda a subjective thing. Also wheel size will affect the torque and speed.
For the record my experience has been with the RXV and I went from stock cart to a Jakes 6" drop arm, then Jakes LT, and finally Jakes 3" drop arm. (all with 23" wheels)
