1994 Ez Go Medalist won't go forward or reverse

We have a 1994 Ez Go Medalist Series system (I believe from what I am seeing on the internet) that has a positive to ground short. How do we locate the short? We have replaced the solenoid, a microswitch and a switch limit switch, and green, red, white and black wires and connectors. The cart will not move in forward or reverse.

You need to get a voltmeter and make some voltage measurements. Start with measuring the battery voltage. Do you hear the solenoid click when you press the pedal? You don't give us much to go on. A dead short to ground is not likely the cause if you don't see any smoke. Also golf cart technicians do not usually use the term ground. The battery negative is not connected to the frame as in most vehicles. Battery negative is usually referred to as B - and this is where you need to reference voltage measurements from by connecting the negative probe on voltmeter to make measurements. Your problem may be awful simple or simply awful. Maybe this will help you get started so some regulars here can chime in and offer help and advice. Save the old parts you replaced. They may be ok.
