Default Got my crankshaft back today..quick !

I have started on a 20.5 HP Robin EH64 I picked up a few months ago.

It had a monster output shaft, it is a very low hour engine off of a Scags
lawnmower, the guy put the engine on, and the tranny or something else big went out, and he pulled the motor and dumped the rest.

The shaft was 1 7/8 " about.. and I got it tapered
to a normal 110 30:1 taper for a nicer clutch I want.

I will post some pics tomorrow when I get it back together.. the throttle body on the
carb is TWO inches across, stock.

third picture show shaft before machining..didn't get any close shots this time.

Removed governor and shaft today,
cleaned it up some more, and dropped the crankshaft back in.

I am amazed at the construction/engineering of this motor, the
main bearing is huge, and the other side is serviceable without having to
completely tear down the engine..

Quite a bit of extra bracing too..the jugs are huge, turns out the air
filter said EH 64, but the block is labeled EH 65, difference is two HP.

I'll take it !

Well you MISSED it..

I put a 23 Robin Subaru vtwin in my 800 G and traded it for an ST 350.

It seems to be a 2003 my 800 was a 2001, which had rack and pinion.
This cart has the old center arm steering.. is that correct ? The rest of the cart is clearly a 2003 ST 350 ..or at least it appears to have the modern air filter and electric dump..

Just curious if anyone has one , or knows about that.

That steering is correct for the ST carts from 2003. Think they used that setup until not to long ago.
