Default Bypassing Controller

Earlier today my old 48 Volt Club car with an Alltrax 4855 died, it appears the controller failed. not a big deal today as I was about 100 foot from my residence so I was able to push the cart home. Last week I was about 5 miles deep in the woods with my cart so I was wondering if my controller died what would be the easiest was to bypass the controller so when I pushed the pedal the activate the solenoid the cart would take off wide open, once I figure out the easiest way to bypass the controller I guess I could eliminate a battery or 2 to slow the cart down in the emergency situation. Any suggestions?

thank you

With the existing harness and wiring, you cannot simply bypass the controller. You could send direct current to the motor etc. but not using existing throttle set up and wiring.

I like to diagnose controllers by process of elimination. All of the other components surrounding the controller are so easy to test. If you test all of them and they pass the test, the only thing left is the controller. What year model is your cart?
