Default Crown CR235 or Trojan 105

I’m replacing the batteries in my 36v cart. I have crown CR 235 and my shop wants to sell me he Trojan 105 I think. Basically, a 235 ah to a 225 ah.

I tow an airplane and give rides at my airport and need to be able to haul fat guys up a hill. Is there much difference between a 235 and a 225 ah battery? Need to decide by tomorrow morning.

Aaaaand GO!!!!

The higher amp hour should give longer range...

My preference is Crown over Trojan...as I read through the forum
it appears that the Trojan company was sold and the new owners
have not kept up with quality control...

Am currently running Crown agms and am very pleased with them.
My agms are 8 x 6v 260ah.

Happy cartin'

I used to have an old CC that I always used whatever bargain batteries I could find and would get about 3 years out of. When I bought the wife another cart recently it came with brand new Trojan T-105+ batteries. I am really impressed with them, and they aren’t even fully broke in yet.

My last set of Trojans gave me 5+ years of service with a good maint. program( charge after every use, keep water levels topped off don’t drain down below 75%.
I replaced them with U S batteries. More amps, less money.

Plenty of users at campground use crowns with good results if maintained .

Choice between those 2 I would choose crown.

Visit the battery sticky on this sight for more info😊
