madjax lift squeaking
just put a new 6" lift on and developing some squeaks when turning. It's not the steering, coming from around the front wheel area it sounds like but I can't pin point it. Should I spray some white lithium grease on it all or is that a bad idea?

Re: madjax lift squeaking
First let me ask you if you tightened all the suspension bolts while the cart was still on the jack/jack stands?
If so, i would suggest you loosen them up, put the cart on the ground under its own weight then retighten. If it still squeaking i would suggest using a white lithium spray or silicone spray on each pivoting point. I wouldn't do them all at once though. I would spray one thing, drive to see if the noise is gone or not and go from there, that way you will know exactly where the noise is coming from. Wayne |
