Default 36v ezgo TXT is very slow

I have a 2001 36V Ezgo TXT with new batteries and Alltrax controller SR 48400
I have noticed that the speed of the cart has slowed significantly...it is possible that the controller lost its program? or it changed? Not sure where to start to diagnose this

Any help is greatly appreciated!

How new are your new batteries? They will recommend doing a health check because even new batteries can be damaged by, for example, a bad charger

maybe 2 months? to check the battery pack do I unhook all the batteries for an individual test of each one or can I test the whole pack together?

Test the whole pack together. Fully charge until cut off, wait 12 hours, measure the voltage of the whole pack. Report back the voltage and brand/model/rated capacity of the batteries.

Also, it goes without saying that you need to make sure to add the proper amount of distilled water to your batteries. Sometimes the easy things are overlooked.

You can check any single battery w/o disconnecting anything also!

After rest some hours 38v is ok for a 36v pack (s. SOC chart for Trojan brand batteries). To test the charger, check the pack voltage while charging (you should see 40+v depending of the charger/charging algorithm).
