Re: The Death Taxi cometh
Hey dualdelay, I have it running on 8v to keep it dim as possible for creeping into my hunting areas in the mornings before daylight. It's Tits McGhee and illuminates plenty for safe travel.

BBBHC and dualdelay, some lightbar pics. The 🦟 were wearing me out and I was having a heck of a time trying to get my phone settings to kill any glare so this was the best ones I took, should still give you a decent idea

Re: The Death Taxi cometh
My turnbuckle to wire rope supports to my cargo carrier failed this weekend hauling 4 - 50# bags of mineral. One of the turnbuckle hooks straightened and then it all transferred to the aluminum angle on the frame at the hitch receiver. Broke a weld and tweaked the angle pretty good. Back to the drawing board but pretty sure I already know how I'm going to modify my set up to beef it up.

Those pictures look good. Thanks for posting them.
I'll be interested in seeing what you come up with for your cargo carrier. I'm planning on making one soon. |

Re: The Death Taxi cometh
My buddy fabbed and welded up some gussets and a curved strut that will keep the rear aluminum angle from flexing. I'm going to shorten my cargo carrier so it's as tight to the receiver as possible and then reinforce with coated cable to the bed frame, like before, but with shackles and slightly larger closed end turnbuckles. Here are some pics of the weld up.

Yes!
I’m envisioning something like this for my TX pig killing cart. 2014 Precedent I need a small lift and tires. I’ve slimed my turf tires but they aren’t cutting it. I had to go down a creek and back up and got high centered. lol I need a lift, lights and racks for shooting sticks and rifles Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
