Hello everyone! I have a 48 volt club cart ds that is in need of new batteries. My question is, what battery other than the Trojan T875 do u guys recommend? Precision, Napa, Pacer, US Battery? Thanks

Re: Battery
I can’t get Trojans in my area, Second pack of US Batteries for me. Strong, no issues really.

Re: Battery
Napa batteries are manufactured by East Penn which also makes Deka, Duracell, and a few others for other major auto parts stores. Decent batteries but certainly not worth the Napa price.
Trojan and US Battery are top of the line for golf cart lead acid batteries, with US being the better of the two IMO. Cant go wrong with either one, just depends who carries what in your area. Never heard of Precision or Pacer, so can’t really comment on those. But if you’re considering those, remember to check the AH rating of the battery. A lower AH rating will mean less run time, lower power, and generally a shorter overall pack life. |

Re: Battery
I just picked up two sets of the 8VGC's for $104.95 a piece. Find a local distributor and negotiate.

Re: Battery
The "big three" for cart batteries are Trojan, US Battery & Crown. Try to avoid places like auto parts stores or Batteries +. They don't sell many cart specific batteries so the "new" ones they sell you may have been sitting on their shelf for a year or more - aging & sulfating.
