Default Sycraft Build- 36 to 48v

Received a free 1993 DS Club Car in 36V trim, was able to sell off all the stock parts and batteries and buy a full 500 amp setup with MOT A1 motor from Scotty B. Install went smoothly and working on the lift now. Waiting on Tie Rods. 22" tires ready to go on too. Light kit is in the box awaiting install too As I removed every wire before build.

Closer, voltage reducer in and all lights done, just need to hook up the brake light circuit and wheel flares

Looking good. Did you change the charging receptacle? THe 48 volt charger that I obtained came with a 3 pin round plug. I ordered the new receptacle but now im confused on where the 3rd wire goes.

Typically the 3 wire charger is a dumb charger meaning it needs the CC onboard computer to control it. Sycraft used the Lester Summit smart charger (or equivalent) which utilizes the old 36v receptacle.

Sycraft, the cart is looking good. You have done a very clean installation. Love the 48v
