motor install was way easier than I thought but now I need the file for the contoller

The SR control is a series controller. It does not have different maps for different motors. You are good to go

ah I guess the slow speed and the beep is because I don't have the speed sensor hooked up yet.

is there anything to gain by upgrading the f1 and F2 cables?

Between this post and some others of yours I'm confused about the drive system. Is yous a sepex or series cart? The Plum Quick Barracuda is a sepex motor. If you have a SR Alltrax controller it is for series motors.

Yes, and series motors do not have motor speed sensor wires... Hope you have the XCT control... in which case you do need the correct map

yes the cart had the XCT 48500 iq controller and the plum quick barracuda motor. my dog keeps giving me the stink eye because before I changed the motor I could do 30 mph and now we barely do 14 mph, he gave me the stink eye and walked back into the air conditioned office with a look of disappointment

You'll need to contact PQ or Alltrax for the field map. It should be a .txt file that you'll load onto your XCT controller.
