Default Re: Need to increase speed on 2020 EZ-GO L6 Express Elite

Looking for speed upgrade as well. Just purchased 2021 EZGO L6. My 2019 is speed rated at 24MPH and it is also RXV elite. Speedometer on 2021 reads 16/17MPH. Have also read Bob Boyce is the guy for this but not sure how to contact him. Any help is greatly appreciated because I can’t stand how slow the new one is!!!

What I can tell you Bob won't be going to Las Vegas. He's not going to travel that far sorry.

Can I buy new parts and replace them? Does anyone know what West Coast people do about this without a WestCoast bob?

Bob
The controller is not going to become permanently damaged because the dealer made some tuning adjustments using - it can always be reverted. The rabbit turtle switch can be disabled through software depending on which profile the dealer selects.

Try telling that to those that have experienced this first-hand. Some have had to buy new controllers because what the dealers did violated their warranty.
