Default G29 carb adjustment

Bought a fleet use 2012. Seller installed a new carb. Carb loads up fuel and back-fires upon decel. Is there an air fuel adjustment? spec?

There's only 1 adjustment--#6 in the pic. Carefully remove the plastic limiting cap. Start at 1 1/2 turns out from fully closed.

Your problem is not an adjustment.....

Such a new cart needed a carb? First red flag

Is it an aftermarket carb, if so, take it off and throw it in the trash.

Find last owner and ask why they changed the carb. If its the same issue your having, chances are better it is a fuel pump even as rare as that is.

Top 2 causes of yamaha backfire (in my experience).. 1- throttle blade not fully closing. 2- exhaust leak.

Find out is the carb is a genuine mikuni brand carb 250+$ or the Chinese 35$ clones.

Bend the idle throttle tab so it doesnt hit the carb. Mind did same thing and I checked everything everyone says to this is the only thing that solved mine.
