Default oil pump bleed screw

Some how the air bleed screw on my oil pump worked loose and fell out. Does anyone know where I can get a new one or know what size and thread pitch it is?

Well after digging deeper and checking another cart the bleeder screw isn't missing it just decided to start leaking. I can't get it to turn. I pull the plastic cap out of the way and the bleeder has a hex shaped plastic cover around it but turning that does nothing. I tried using a small pair of vise grips to turn it and still nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't think I really need this to be functional can't I just JB weld the hole shut so it stops leaking and if I need to bleed the air out just bleed it at the hose fitting. Anyone have any ideas?

You will end up needing a new motor if you ever do get air in the pump, and dont have access to the bleeder. A small bubble in this low-flow circuit will result in a excessive period of oil-free 2-cycle operation ($). If air is ever allowed into the pump (for any reason), it is very unlikely you will successfully get all air out without the bleed. My opinion is this- If your automatic oiling system is not in perfect shape, either properly repair it, OR start mixing your own. Anything anywhere between these two options are gonna cost you a motor.
