FmF q Silencer
Has anybody used a FmF q silencer on their motor to cut down on the noise? If so how good did it work?

Re: FmF q Silencer
On mine (440cc Twin) I am running a AAEN performance pipe... I re-packed the Silencer and made a turn down cap to hush it up some... Did it work? Yes -- Is it still REALLY loud? YES!
So that Silencer will cut some DBs off of the sound signiture ... But there's only so much you can do on these motors to make em quiet. I had another little muffler off of something laying around -- tried rigged it up to the Pipe (Snowmo Silencer & another muffler after that) -- That actually worked pretty good -- But too much stuff hanging off the motor for my liking |

Intake noise can be as loud as the exhaust. You have to work on both ends to quiet them down.If your running K&N style filters your fighting a looseing battle.
