Default Whats wrong with my Charger ??????

My 36 volt Powerwise charger has quit on me. It clicks when I plug it into the cart, but the amp meter needle never moves and it doesn't seem to hum. What could cause this and how do I check it ?

I'd say the fuse either blew or the board went out.

I got it fixed and it was neither of the above, my wife had unplugged it to get a powerstrip that was plugged in next to it.
I was too dumb to check there first even though I know that is where you should always start !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

since you mentioned this. Sold a customer a 05 txt fleet elec. About 2 weeks later he calls and says he want shis money back, b/c cart is completely dead and charger is bad. Cust brings cart in, test charger on my cart works perfect. jump cart off and charge, nothign wrong with cart. 2 weeks later he calls saying the same thing. I go to his house and the shed he keeps it in was built for this cart. When the electrical company ran the wire to it they forgot to flip the breaker on in the power box for the plugs. his lights worked. The customer than really felt like an idiot. thought I would share.

I'll admit it because in the big picture it might have saved me between $250 and $400 for a charger if I ended up not being able to repair mine.

I might be a dummy, but I'm not broke (yet )
