Default 2013 Club car precedent speed:torque

New to golf carting just bought 2013 club car precedent that was converted to limo . I am concerned about speed and torque of factory motor . Will be using with 6 passengers and have a lot of hills in the campground . Not picking up
Cart till May but want to have a plan if I need more speed/torque . Any advice will be greatly appreciated. The factory gas engine is carbureted if that helps

I wouldn’t think you’ll have any issues with power with the FE350 motor.
If you do have any problems get a torque spring for the secondary clutch, and replace the belt with a heavy duty belt. Club cars 1017188 works very well for heavy loads or carts with larger than stock tires. There is also an extreme duty belt that is good for high power engine upgrades and off-road use.

My carryall had the same engine, 25” tires and would pull a 4x8 trailer with a 6 foot round hay bale (1000+ lbs) just fine. That was with stock clutch and belt.

Also would be worth putting it in neutral and put in service mode. Rev the engine and watch the clutches work. Make sure it comes all the way to the top of the drive clutch (the one on the engine) and not just halfway up. Cvtech has a video on YouTube that’s really good explaining clutch operation.

As long as they’re working like they should I think you’ll be fine.
