Default This may take a while, I’m new....

Since my daughter is building a new home 8 houses down the street from me, decided we needed a cart to ferry the new MIPs (most important people) from house to house; my 5 and 4 year old granddaughters. I picked up this tired Club Car DS and decided to make it my own.

After ordering wheels and seat covers (I’ll go with real, staple on covers after the paint), I tuned my attention to the top. It wasn’t big enough for the rear seat folks in this brutal Florida sun. I opted for the 84” RedDot “bimini style”. You can see how much longer it is below

Had to redrill my roof supports in all the attachment points but I like the domed slope because it feels less “enclosed”. I’m not huge but I am 6’2” so head room helps a bit.

My painter just got squirrelly on me so I’m not sure when that’s is going to happen. I’m even thinking I might try myself but red is not the easiest color to shoot. We will see. At the moment this is where we are. I’m currently thinking about building myself a 36 volt LifePo4 battery since these are 2018 models and it’s going to be time to spend money anyway. We will see I guess. It’s SB weekend and I’m in Tampa Bay so don’t be expecting much for a week or so, lol.

Project looks like its coming right along nicely! I haven't tried one of those Bimini tops yet so lemme know how it holds up. I am also in the Tampa Bay area... Go Bucs!!!

Go Bucs!!! How awesome would it be to win it?
I did add some comfort armrests in the back and will get the grab rail mounted this weekend at least

I believe you can swap those armrests from side to side and give you a little more room on the seat. Just a thought

Man I can't even imagine the Bucs pride that would be going around the area. I mean on top of being the first team in NFL history to win in our home stadium!
