Roypow Main Off / On Switch ?

Does anyone know when and why you would turn the main switch (off) on the battery pack?

Just guessing here but I'd turn it of when washing or working on it, like adding anything electronic.

Roypow recommends that you turn it off if sitting for 5 days or more. I usually turn mine off if I'm not going to use in next few days. I feel that it'll help keep some one from stealing cart also. They may not know how to turn it on...kind of hard to see switch the way I have it installed.

I can understand the recommendation for more than 5 weeks, but 5 days?

That box could not have that bad of a self-discharge rate that 5 days would be noticeable.
