Re: does anyone know what this cart is?
I agree, looks like a airport luggage carrier. Really need to see more pictures from different angles to make better guess'

I love a challenge like this figuring things out. Is that a 6 volt battery?
If so I think we can at least date it somewhat. Military maybe? 1950's specialty vehicle for an airport? Maybe older? |

Re: does anyone know what this cart is?
It has 6 cells so should be a 12 volt battery ... but it is certainly a different one!

Re: does anyone know what this cart is?
What is the hydraulic oil box for? This thing hydraulic driven...seems strange for it's age.

Re: does anyone know what this cart is?
yes this is hydraulic driven cart.. I will post more pics of hydraulic motors on the left/right drive hubs..as for the battery, I was told it is a "6 volt battery" but I think it is a 12 volt

Re: does anyone know what this cart is?
Hi guys,
First post here. Been lurking a bit, but I had to jump into this one. When I saw the low profile of this cart I immediately thought about the tug tractors used on aircraft carriers. Could this be an early one? Hydrostatic drive would make sense for that application. Heavy loads, low speed, and braking by default when no drive power is applied. Just my thoughts.
