Default 24 hp honda

i got a new 24 hp honda put an off set key different valve springs two into one header on it and it runs like crap doesnt idle and hard to start and when u give it gas it acts like one cyl. hitting about half the time

Maybe you messed something up adding the parts? I would start there and backtrack my steps. We use 24 Hondas all the time and never have any issues...

Double check the advance key installation.. If it's installed with the offset the wrong way, the spark timing will be severely retarded.. This will cause the engine to not idle very well if at all, and cause it to misfire on acceleration..

well there must have been something to mess up as you motor isn't running correctly now!!

The offset timing key, can it be installed backwards?? I have a Honda but have not seen the key but if it can be reversed it would retard instead of advance. Just a thought.
