AC power for EZGOs in the Florida, Georgia, Mississippi ,Louisiana, S Carolina areas
Hey all, this is VCTech. We will visit the aforementioned states in the title. If you're a golf cart dealer or the like, and are interested in seeing our system, please reply to this thread or PM me so I can get your contact info.
We will be bringing our Club Car Precedent test cart though, because we only have room for 1 cart in our truck. Thanks, |

The only issue I have with your system is that it is only good for the PDS or IQ models.... If there was a series conversion I would definately have to have a discussion with you about it.... I have alot of customers that have expressed interest in an inexpensive AC setup, but many of them are running older carts that do not meet the criteria for your setup.

If you visited our website www.vctechusa.com, in the FAQs section, we mention that we design systems based on market feedback/demand. Our harness supplier won't do "1-off" or "unique harnesses." We have to order like 500 units per order. And from my experience here in the West Coast, many golf cart dealers like to retrofit (the big 3 Club Car, EZ, and Yamaha) models that are 3 years old at the oldest. It's similar to computers or other things that quickly phase out. However, we are open to designing kits for 5, 10 year old carts granted that the demand is there. |

There is equal number of Series carts (from E-Z-GO for example) as there are Sepex carts.I figured that you all were focusing on those models because there were less parts to change out.
As for location, my shop is located between Lady Lake (the Villages) and Deland..... but we are talking more like 45 minutes to an hour lmao.... I assume you are planning to visit Mid Florida Golf Carts since they are the only dealer in Deland. Should be interesting to see if they adopt your setup since they are one of the largest dealers in the Central Florida Area. |

We'll see. I'm visiting a few dozen dealers in FL to say the least. If you're nearby (I'll Google your address later), I'll definitely stop by and demonstrate our system. I'd be glad to show it to you. Remember, nothing is etched in stone. If we get the demand for an AC kit for a certain model, we'll definitely develop it even if it's older. The biggest deal is developing the right harness, making some programming adjustments to it (because CC, EZ, Yamaha are all different in their respective circuitry). It takes a lot of time and technical know-how to do this; and again, our harness supplier doesn't take small-quantity orders. |

Re: AC power for EZGOs in the Florida, Georgia, Mississippi ,Louisiana, S Carolina ar
Ask around to your dealers.... Any of them that tell you they are not modifying 94 or Newer Series E-Z-GO's are either lying or simply don't handle E-Z-GO carts...... Even in the Villages (by far the largest golf cart community in the world), there are tousands of the series platform running around. I understand about staying current on tech, but you are excluding a HUGE market oppurtunity by ignoring the series owners.....
