Default SB50 conversion to D txt plug

I have a 1994 Ezgo with the SB50 plug. I have a 36 volt Power Wise with the D style plug. The 94 black wire goes to the control panel B- and the white wire goes to the solenoid. Will the charger work if I remove the SB50 and add a D style receptical on the cart. Do I need to change any other wire on the 94 cart or charger? On txt (I still have) had white to positive battery connection and black to neg battery connection red wire to control.

The easiest (and cheapest) way is to buy one of Scottyb's handy dandy adapter cords
he sells for the Yewey charger...

https://www.cartsunlimited.net/yewy-...t-charger.html

Scroll down in the above page until you see the dropdown for "Yewey adapter solo" $ 16 plus shipping is cheaper than just a new "D" plug !!

I have one of each so I can use the charger on various carts !!

Hope this helps !!

The 94 wiring you have is locating the charge connections away from the battery pack to reduce the exposure to corrosion. Both of these connections are at the end of the main plus and minus cables.
The D plug connected directly to the battery pack. Either way of connecting the charge leads will work. Early D plugs have a reed switch. This safety interlock switch disabled the cart when the charger was plugged in. You can use or not use this added feature in the older cart.

Thanks for the info. So I can just go with white to white and black to black.
