Do I need F&R micro switches?
I'm wondering if I need to connect forward and reverse micro switches for my cart to run properly. First I'll tell you what I've got. 1991 Club Car DS basket case. I bought it frame, body, seats, front suspension parts rear axle with a Plum Quick motor (series) attached......thats it. The rest I'm purchasing to build a basic cart. I've ordered a used Alltrax AXE 4834 (hope it works) and a few other parts. Looking at wiring diagrams is where I get confused. I'm not going to run a OBC and I'm going to use a Lester on board charger. Looking at the Alltrax diagram they do not include the micro switches. I have seen others on line that do include them. So my question is what do they do and do I really need them to be hooked up? Thanks for any help!
