Melex 102
Picked up a Melex 102 S/N 0575122972, best I can tell, pre 1974. Runs good with no grinding sounds coming from anywhere.
Battery Boxs are trashed but the frame has no cancer on it. While I was cutting the remainder of the battery trays out. I say a large adjustment screw under the drivers seat, with a hinged bar on top acting as a stop for it. What ever it attached to is long gone but I am curious what it was for? Will be fun getting it back into a better running condition, see where it goes from there. |

Re: Melex 102
You may be seeing bits of an old safety device that disabled the cart if the driver left the seat?

Re: Melex 102
I will try and post some pictures of the screw as well as the cart itself this evening.
