Re: Clutch engagment issuse?
I have never heard of a "stripped hub" on a gas CC. The Kawasaki rear end is near bullet proof (unlike it's EZ-GO cousin) which is apt to shear splines on occasion and render the cart useless. In fifteen working years with these things I have yet to see a CC rear end give any serious issues unless it has been thoroughly abused.

Ok, Ok, Thanks for rubb'in it in!!
Yall can pretty much throw the hub as a problem out the window since I had a brain fart and thought it was an Ezgo. How much slack is in the drive belt? |

Re: Clutch engagment issuse?
My concern was the comment " both clutches keep spinning at idle.
Does the driven or rear clutch spin while the cart is not moving (as in not rolling)? |

Re: Clutch engagment issuse?
Both clutches spin, but are not engaged. May be the fact the belts a hair wide? I used the odessey belt that is always recommended. I did find the right side brake is hanging up (previous owners did brakes and something doesn't look right side to side).

Re: Clutch engagment issuse?
This thread is all over the place and a bit confused.
If the secondary clutch is spinning then the cart should move. If not its not in gear or something is broken or stripped. Try moving the shift lever on the transmission by hand. |

Re: Clutch engagment issuse?
Ok so in short the cart moves because the belt may be a hair wide so the driven clutch is moving. It shifts and runs in F and R. Speed is very slow because clutches do not "engage". My main concern was when engine speed is increased neither cluch engages with cart on ground in gear only in the air.
