Default G22a Carb issuse

Hello All,

I have a 2003 G22a and I have made a snorkel kit for it. So the air inlet is between the front and rear seat above the body with 1.5" ID, but im getting a bog when I floor it. If I pull the choke out and hold it it runs perfect, I have adjusted the carb screw, seems to run best with screw almost all the way out. I've done the whole 1.5 - 2 turns thing. My question is... Is the bog from to much air or gas not enough or to much of something? Everything has been gone through cleaned out. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Ive read alot of the forums on carbs here just cant find right answer. I probably need to do a bigger jet and plowmans air filter is what I think.

Thank you.

Welcome to BGW

You need the larger jet.

audia wecome to BGW. Be carefull! Unless you can find a way to enclose your cvt you're going to be dead in the water before you get deep enough to need an air box snorkel. Good luck and post some pic.
