96 Club Car lost power
Cart has died on me while driving. It just suddenly stopped. This is the second time this happened. The first time I took it to a Club Car dealer who said I was lucky its wasn't the controller but didn't specifically say what it was. Charged five dollars for a wire and 45 for labor. Anyway, the solenoid clicks when I step on the pedal and I checked the batteries and they are fully charged to 48v. Also checked the solenoid and have voltage going in but nothing coming out. Tried to cross the poles where the + wire goes in and the pole to the controller and got nothing. I'm lost. I do keep the battery terminals clean, I check them monthly and clean the terminals every six months. The charger works fine so any help would to get it running would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 96 Club Car lost power
if your batteries are only at 48 volts thats 50% dead..........you need to get us the exact readings from each battery and the pack and you might want to load test them it only takes 1 to drop under load to stop the cart...........................
